The main issue after designing an investment solution is that you want to test it against actual data. It is sometimes possible to use data from public sources, but they are often hard to obtain, hard to integrate, and incomplete. Algodeal has already done the grunt work of obtaining clean data from reputable sources for you.

What else can Algodeal do for me?

We run an extensive grid of computers to execute the investment strategies of our customers.

You can leverage our grid when running your strategy with various parameters ("optimizing"). The resulting tests will be run in parallel on our grid, and you will obtain much better, much faster results than what you could hope for on your own computer. See details here.

What is Market Runner?

Market Runner is an Automated Trading System (ATS) Development Platform for quant traders.

This is the environment where you devise various investment strategies before sending them over to Algodeal's grid for simulation against market data. This software is not mandatory to fully leverage Algodeal, but it will be a great help. See the installation details for Market Runner.

The easiest way to get started is to run the samples on the web site. In a couple of clicks, you'll have a strategy running on our grid, view results, and get a summary scorecard.
