Paper trading
Thanks, paper trading looks nice. Just a question on that.
Say I submitted a strategy in May and now want to see how it performed since. Paper trading is not for this, paper trading starts today and will report on trades since today - or is there a way to paper trade from a given date?
To get results since May I need to rerun the strategy and then activate paper trading to get an idea of performance from now onwards?
Also, ability to delete strategies to get rid of clutter would really help now.
Thanks
MG

Hi,
There is no way to paper trade from a given date, the start date of paper trading is forced when you activate paper trading.
However, the backtests run automatically for paper trading will include the entire backtest period, and results will be available separately for the full backtest period, and for the paper trading period.
You can activate paper trading on you backtest from May if it complies to the conditions for paper trading (see Paper trading a strategy), but it will be marked as paper trading from today.
Regards,
Guillaume

Currently it is set to run at 4 AM (french time), but we might change this later on.
