When running local strategy (executing) the example "ChainedSellsWithPnLTracker" in Eclipse it DOES NOT show :

1) Equity Curve

-OR-

2) Bar Chart

But IT DOES SHOW :

1)ORDERS

-AND-

2)Transactions

That was the first example I tried.
I am wondering if I am doing something wrong.. or this is the way it will be from now.. etc.

Thanks

In fact I took an old strategy and ran it and it is still doing the same thing. I should say before this un-installed Eclipse and reinstalled a fresh copy with new version mkt runner 1.3

I will uninstall and reinstall in the meantime and see if that works

    Hi Hessum,

What do you mean by "Doesn't display BarChart or Equity Curve"? Do you mean the strategy executes, opens a results viewer, and there are four tabs of which 2 are gray (no display)?

Do you see some orders in the orders list? Are they marked as Filled (at least some of them)?

By the way, can you check that you are using Sun Java 1.6? (it should be displayed in the first lines of Eclipse console. Mine looks like this: "1.6.0_20 from Sun Microsystems Inc.")

    Thanks,

    Mathieu

Yeah, thats exactly what I meant. 2 of the tabs were grayed out. There were orders filled for both etc.

I just installed the previous one for now, I'll try the other one in a little while.

    Thanks,

    Hi again,

We've found the problem and developped a fix. We will release an update on Monday.

It's a portability problem (our system uses Unix style file path, which won't work on Windows under certain circumstances)

To keep you working this week-end, don't hesitate using our Web system. Its results are not affected by the bug.

Thanks for the feedback, and hope it answers your question,

    Mathieu

    Hi,

The latest version deployed should now work correctly both on the web and locally, even on Windows.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and don't hesitate to give us your feedback on this version. It is well appreciated.

    Mathieu
